Letters to Adalaide Fales, 1862-1864.

Letters written by Charles L. Fales while serving with Company G of the Massachusetts 24th Regiment, 1862-64. Letters addressed to his sister Adelaide Fales in Framingham, Mass. describe skirmishes in Virginia, the capture of Confederate prisoners, and camp life and duties. Also includes a letter written by Fales' brother John to Adelaide while serving with Company E of the Massachusetts 16th Regiment, 21 Sept. 18[62].
